• Identify the UN Number & Proper Shipping Name (PSN): Accurately determine the UN Number to identify the permitted packaging requirements, Packing Group (I, II, or III), and applicable Limited Quantity provisions.

• Comply with Packaging & Labeling Requirements: Outer packaging must meet applicable UN specification packaging standards. Hazard labels and handling instructions must be properly and clearly displayed on each package.

• Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD): The shipper must complete the Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD) and sign to confirm responsibility before handing the cargo over to the carrier.

• Chemical Permits & Declarations: Carefully check the applicable list of chemicals subject to import control in Vietnam in order to determine whether a chemical declaration through the National Single Window or an import permit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade is required before the cargo arrives at the port.
